Who we are

Spice Route Restaurants Pvt Ltd ("we", "us") is a Pakistani private limited company registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, registration number CR 0098445. Our registered office is at 14-A Gulberg III, Lahore. Our Data Protection Officer is Faiza Aslam, reachable at dpo@spiceroute.com.pk.

What information we collect

When you book a reservation we collect your name, telephone number, email (optional), party size, date, time, branch, and any notes you provide (allergies, accessibility needs, occasion). When you write to us via the contact form we collect your name, email, and the content of your message.

When you visit our website we collect anonymised analytics — page views, device type, broad geography (country only) — through our hosting provider's standard logs. We do not place advertising cookies. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Why we collect it

Reservation data is used solely to honour your booking, to send you a confirmation, and to recognise you on a return visit. Contact form data is used to reply to your message. Analytics is used to understand which pages of our website are useful to guests.

How long we keep it

Reservation records are retained for seven years to comply with Federal Board of Revenue record-keeping requirements applicable to registered businesses. Contact form messages are retained for two years. After these periods data is deleted or archived in irreversibly anonymised form for internal trend analysis.

Your rights under PDPA 2023

Under Pakistan's Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and to ask us to delete it (subject to the FBR retention requirement above). To exercise any of these rights please write to dpo@spiceroute.com.pk. We will reply within 30 days.

Cookies

Our website uses one strictly-necessary session cookie issued by Vercel (our hosting provider) which expires when you close your browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

AI-assisted review responses

Spice Route uses an AI system to help draft public responses to online reviews. Every published response is reviewed and approved by a named human (a branch manager, our group GM, or our founder) before publication. The AI system has access only to the public text of your review and to internal data about the branch you reviewed; it does not have access to reservation records or any identifying information beyond what you publicly posted.

Changes

We will post any updates to this notice on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Material changes will additionally be announced via a prominent banner on the homepage for 30 days.
